1. Mr.K Ramar - Principal


Mr. Ramar is an experienced educationalist since 1990. He holds two Bachelor degrees, one in Mathematics and another in B. Ed. as well. He started his career as a teacher of Mathematics in schools. He was promoted as the Principal for his able leadership and quality in the educational value system to preach and practice with his fellow teachers and his students. He continues to sustain a very good and cordial relationship with the Parents and the Students community for over a decade.

He has equipped his teaching team, the capability to face and overcome the present day educational challenges, with the vision and mission set by GPSS. He as a Principal, is well prepared to take care of the overall development of his students in the campus and not just their academic growth alone. Apart from his interest on the student’s betterment, he has a passion to look into and take care of every little detail of the school.  He is also a strong personality, who helps his fellow faculty members develop into Top performers.


2. Mrs.V. Rajasulochana, M.A., B. Ed., Tamil –Language Teaching


Mrs. Rajasulochana, our Tamil language teacher has been working since 2004 in different schools and gained her experience in teaching. In her two years with GPSS, she comes across as a humble and fervent teacher in the teaching subject. Her classes are very lively and interesting. Depending upon the lesson, the teacher uses dramatic conversational, storytelling and sometimes even lecture methods for teaching, which enhances the learning atmosphere. Her classical Tamil adds beauty to the subject and to the art of teaching. Besides these, she takes special care of the students in academics and in general.

She has great concern about the student’s ability in terms of academic, extracurricular and general knowledge. Her hard work in academics and overall performance has made her to be measured at the highest value.


3. Ms.P.Priyanga, B.A, B.Ed., - Tamil –Language Teaching


Fluent in Tamil and her communications as a teacher, with the title of ‘Pulavar’, Ms. Priyanga is vibrant in her language teaching and has a lot of work experience. She is a very good mentor with an ability to explain the concepts in a creative manner. She inspires and motivates her students with her classical Tamil.

She is warm, easy to approach, enthusiastic and caring. She plans, prepares, and delivers lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. Her classes are interactive and informative. Her academic performances are highly measured among the student communities and spoken of greater value. The model of regularity, high quality of teaching with different and active methodologies has provided students with an interest to be self-starters with high energy, enabling maximum and efficient efforts in their studies.


4. Mrs. Uma Nagendran, B.A - Hindi, Advance Diploma in Hindi -Central, Drawing (Art)) -Faculty member


With an experience of 4 years, Mrs. Uma manifests the artistic and competent way of teaching in two subjects, Hindi and Drawing. Her motivation in the classroom helps the students to be bright and embrace talents. She is vibrant in her language teaching with her good experience and inspires the children to display their skills in an innovative way. Her classes are both interactive and informative. She ensures the quality of teaching with good language skills training and also setting their targets high.


5. Ms. A. Fargin, B.Sc., B.Ed., Mathematics -Faculty Member


Ms. Fargin, a talented young teacher of secondary classes, holds an experience of over 3 years with a commitment to maintaining high standards of education along with an emphasis to develop student’s knowledge in the teaching subject. She is an enthusiastic, committed educator with an innate ability to understand and motivate children with the positive vibrations.

Her skill lies in adapting to student’s diverse learning methods. The students are guided and motivated according to their interests and capabilities. Besides these, she is innovative and inquisitive about the world around her. She regularly self-evaluates her teaching methods and also identifies student’s weaknesses. She is an opportunity provider to all learners, constantly renewing herself and inspiring students with her passion.


6. Mrs. A. Tamilselvi, M.Sc., Physics, B.Ed. -Special Educator


Mrs. Tamilselvi has an extensive experience in teaching Physics to secondary school students for over 10 years and holds an additional value of being a Special Teacher.  She has dedicated herself to helping children with learning, physical and emotional disabilities. She has a strong character of critical thinking with great analytical skills. She plans and organizes hands-on activities that encourage active student participation, involvement and teamwork. She has an expertise in the topics of Force and Laws of Motion.

She also collaborates with her colleagues to address teaching and research issues. Her administrative duties include serving as the department’s active member. She can advise students on the academic and vocational curriculum, and if needed on career issues too.


6. Mrs. A. Yogatharshini, M.Sc., Microbiology -Faculty member


Mrs. Yogatharshini, our Grade I teacher, is a benign and tender person when it comes to her students. She provides careful educational guidance and basic life skills to the tiny tots and helps them develop their reading and writing skills. By being easily adaptable and patient, which is her strength, she makes the children to be in gladden state. Apart from her teaching, she has a passion in the subject of microbiology and special interest in classical dance. She is an ideal personality for the children and can provide an alluring ambience for her students, setting targets in their minds. She also upholds the importance of intrinsic motivation.


7. Mrs. X. Amala Salome, D.T.Ed -Faculty member


Mrs. Amala Salome, the Lower Kindergarten faculty, is a caring teacher with over 3 years of experience delivering educational guidance for the Tiny Tots in the Montessori teaching methodology. She helps the little ones in learning the alphabets, numbers and uses personal and emotional skills in an impressive manner.

She uses the available resources of the Teaching learning material, which adds value of being a great teacher. Her focus on teaching about the basics of regular life eating, talking, and behavior ornaments the journey of students, with the parents welcoming teaching methodology. The kids are very active and attentive in the classroom and never hesitate to question the teacher during learning. She can be acknowledged as a dedicated, resourceful and a goal-driven professional educator.


8. Mrs.M.Benina Devi. M, D.T.Ed., B.A., B.Ed., English -Faculty member


Mrs. Benina, the Upper Kindergarten faculty member, has a love for children and has experience of over 5 years. She enjoys teaching them and alternately swaps plain teaching with songs, stories and games to motivate children into participating and interacting. Adhering to teaching standards and safety regulations, her practical way and objective method of teaching impresses both the students and the parents.  Her self-determination is recognized with her creative and artistic teaching abilities. Her knowledge of child development is an additional value that holds up this teacher distinctly. Her keen sense of humor is a quality that helps to create a strong relationship between the teacher and kids, and she exercises this with her strength of patience and flexibility.


9. Mr. T. Lakshmanan, B.Sc., M.A.Ed. and M.Phil. -Physical education teacher


Mr. Lakshmanan, dedicated physical education teacher, trains the students making them feel the spirit of sports. His 10 years of experience in physical education, he has many achievements up his sleeve including State level at Kick boxing, Wrestling, Tennis and Athletics. Besides physical training, he instils values that help students to cruise through life with honesty and responsibility for both themselves and people around them. This not only makes the students to be agile and fit but also increases their concentration in academics and willingness to perform better in any field. His methods of training in the field of sports and games are excellent and his contribution raises the bar for future generations by bringing laurels to our school. His concepts improve the lives of the students and plays a pivotal role in giving them stability and having a healthy life style.


10. Mr. C. John Henry, MSW –Counsellor and Wellness Teacher


John Henry is a post graduate in Social Work, specialized in Community Development and in addition has a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. He started his career as a counsellor in the Salesian schools at Chennai. He was a Lecturer at Sacred Heart College of Tirupattur, where he worked with differently able children, Juvenile Girl Children, Migrant Children, Orphaned and Semi Orphaned children. He has over 20 years of experience in the development sector.
